This is what regrouwth looks like after 30 years.

This is what beetles do 75% of trees were lost, now the light gets in, these trees will now enlarge.

No trree goes to wast. Some National Forests won't allow heavy equipment so light logging is needed off road.

Logging is said to be the 2nd deadliest occupation - this is just a bad logging day.

Notice the trees before beetles. So thick you can't walk through. Whitetails love it.

Timber bore larvae--this will turn into a timber bore beatle.
